According to the Health Ministry of India and Wikipedia, novel coronavirus cases in India increased to 271 on Saturday after 49 fresh cases were reported in various parts of the country.
There are 39 foreign nationals out of 271, 17 of whom are from Italy, three from the Philippines, two from the UK, one from Canada, Indonesia, and Singapore.
The total figures also include four deaths from state Delhi, Karnataka, Punjab, and Maharashtra.
“The total number of active COVID-19 cases in India so far is 245,” the ministry said, adding that 23 others have been cured/discharged, while four have died.
Delhi has registered 26 positive cases so far, including one foreigner, while Uttar Pradesh has registered 24 cases including one foreigner.
Maharashtra has 52 cases, including three foreigners, while Kerala has recorded 40 cases, including seven foreign nationals.
There are 15 coronavirus patients in Karnataka. The number of cases in Ladakh increased to 13 and Jammu and Kashmir four. 19 cases have been registered in Telangana, including 11 foreigners.
17 cases have also been registered in Rajasthan, including two foreigners. Seven cases have been reported in Gujarat so far.
Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Uttarakhand have registered three cases each.
West Bengal, Odisha, and Punjab registered two cases each in total while Puducherry, Chhattisgarh, and Chandigarh registered one each in total.
In Haryana, there are 17 cases, involving 14 foreigners.
