Dibrugarh: While the COVID-19 epidemic is gripping the world today, the time of testing has failed to bind people’s spirits to defeat the virus. To keep their morale high and encourage each other, patients undergoing quarantine were seen dancing and singing on Thursday in Dibrugarh, Assam.

A video that is doing the rounds on the Internet shows patients dancing to lighten their mood.

The video begins with a man playing the flute. As he plays a melodious tune, the other members of the quarantine center clap and cheer for him. Some of them can be seen enjoying the moment while dancing to the tunes. Subsequently, the group of men also sang a song.

The video shared on Twitter by ANI has won the hearts of netizens going into the comment sections to express their views.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state was 28,791, including 8,022 active cases. While 20,699 cases have been cured/displaced/discharged, by Friday the death toll has risen to 70. (ANI)
