Earlier, on 27 April, the Prime Minister held talks with all Chief Ministers through video conferencing.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot demanded a smooth restoration of the inter-state supply chain.

At the same time, the Chief Minister of Gujarat believed that the lockdown should only apply to the container zone. However, the Telangana Chief Minister opposed the rail service, which is going to start about 50 days from Tuesday.
