ANI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will talk to the Chief Ministers of the states at 3 pm on Monday through video conferencing. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to slowly start the economy, along with people’s lives in the ongoing fight against Coronavirus. According to sources, a meeting with the Chief Ministers may discuss ways to increase economic activity as well as defeat Coronavirus in the container zone. This will be the fifth meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the  Ministers.

For the first time, a nationwide lockout was announced on March 25 in the country, which was to end on April 14, but given increasing cases of corona infection due to deposits and other reasons, the central government extended it till May 3. Meanwhile, the National Disaster Management Authority i.e. NDMA has issued detailed guidelines regarding the reopening of industries after the lockout and precautionary steps are being taken to protect workers as well as plants. The NDMA stated that it is mandatory to fully follow these guidelines to successfully restart industrial units and reduce risk.

It is noteworthy that the number of deaths due to Coronavirus infection in the country increased to 2,109 on Sunday, while the total number of cases has increased to 62,939. According to the Union Health Ministry, 128 people have died due to infection in the last 24 hours while 3,277 new cases have been reported. The recovery rate of patients in the country is around 30.75 percent. 111 foreign nationals are also involved in total cases of infection.
