News Agency New Delhi: Former Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram has undoubtedly learned a lot from county cricket, but he feels that a player like Jaspreet Bumrah should take rest if he chooses one of county cricket and rests in the future. Talking with former India opener Akash Chopra on his show Akashwani, Akram highlighted his county cricket journey and also said that now the times have changed and the Indian team plays all year round so for a player like Bumrah It is necessary that they give their body rest.

He said that Indian players play cricket throughout the year. Bumrah is currently India’s top and best bowler in the world. I would advise them to rest when international cricket is not happening. Akram said that as far as I am concerned, I used to play six months for Pakistan and six months for Lancashire. But today, due to lack of time, it has become difficult.

Akram, who took the most wickets in Tests for his country, said that he does not weigh any bowler based on his performance in T20. He said that to increase their potential, young bowlers should play first-class cricket.

Akram said that T20 is fantastic, entertains well. It’s fun, it’s money. I know the importance of money for players. But I will not judge a bowler on his T20 performance. I’ll see how he performs in the longer formats of the game.
