Suresh Raina demands from BCCI, need to change the thinking of Indian cricket

Suresh Raina said that players who are not in contract with the board should be exempted.

India cricket team batsman Suresh Raina feels that players who do not have a central contract with the BCCI should be allowed to play in at least two foreign leagues. The left-handed batsman said that if the players get a chance to play in the foreign league as well, it will help them to return to the national team. Suresh Raina has not played any match for India since July 2018.

As per the current BCCI rules, any Indian player can play in a foreign league only if he retires. Raina said that other international teams allow their players to play in foreign leagues and take advantage of it. Raina said these things with Irfan Pathan during the Instagram live session.

Raina said that there are many best players who have no agreement with BCCI like me. Yusuf Pathan and Robin Uthappa should also be given a chance to play in two foreign leagues for the BCCI. This will enable him to perform well and try to make a comeback in the Indian team. Raina said this during the chat. These players are not being selected for IPL or International level, due to which they can play in CPL or BBL. He said that many foreign players play in the right T20 league and are also part of the national team. Such thinking should also come in Indian cricket.

Let me tell you that last year, Yuvraj Singh and Manpreet Goli took part in the Global T20 League Canada after retirement. At the same time, Yuvi participated in Abu Dhabi in the last T10 league season. Apart from this, RP Singh and Zaheer Khan have also been a part of the Overseas Event. Talking about Raina, his cricket career is not going well for the last few years. He played the last match for CSK in IPL against Mumbai Indians in Hyderabad.
