Review of Dil Bechara: ‘When we are not born and die, but how can we live it?’ Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ is built around this dialogue of the film. This is Sushant Singh’s last film, but not the best. But after watching the film, one realizes that perhaps the best was yet to come. Best Ho Na Ho, but ‘Dil Bichda’ is a good and serious film.
Dil Bechara Movie Review: Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara has been released on Disney Plus Hotstar. This is a simple but sweet love story.
Story of Dil Bechara
The story goes that a Bengali family lives in Jamshedpur. Keiji Basu is the girl from this family. Casey has thyroid cancer and always carries an oxygen cylinder with her. There is a boy, Emmanuel Rajkumar Jr. aka Manny. Manny is a heart-throbbing boy. He only knows how to be happy in life.
One day this happiness gradually comes into the life of Keiji Basu. One thing raj and one the rani, the story goes further than this. After this love, the film’s story takes many turns. Manny also goes to Paris with Keiji and his mother in search of a singer. But the film changes completely after returning from Paris.
There is more surprise in the story than shown in the trailer. But to see this surprise, you also have to watch the film.
Dil Bechara movie’s Special Moment
.Film Kahaani is a love story. You must have seen such a love story even before Bollywood movies. Despite this, you don’t get bored seeing it. Being released on OTT, there is no need to take breaks even at intervals. The story moves at its full speed.
Sushant Singh Rajput has done a touching job with his performance on the go. At the same time, this is the first film for Sanjana Sanghi as the lead actress. She is also very cute and his character too.
Swastika Mukherjee of Hades plays Keiji’s mother. Her acting also looks good. Apart from this, the current screens of Shaswat Chatterjee and Sahil Ved are attractive. At the same time, it is fun to see Saif Ali Khan in the middle.
The acting feels good because the casting is quite right. Mukesh Chhabra’s casting experience is seen in the film. Sanjana’s choice in particular for Keiji and Eternal for Keiji’s father seems perfect.
The music of the film is also very melodious. The magic of AR Rahman is visible. At the same time, the incomplete song playing in the background gives a full feel. However, by the time you reach the end, you are so engrossed in the film that the song is ignored. After the completion of the film, only the smile and music remain with you. The use of location, lighting, and camera in the film has also been corrected.
Cons of Dil Bechara
This is not correct to say. However, the film stops at some locations. It seems that if some of the parameters were tightened further, the composition could have become much better.
The selection of Sanjana in Keiji Basu’s character seems quite accurate. The innocence of his face affects you. However, Bhavana leaves him with him several times or in some scenes.
The story is quite sweet, but you seem to miss aside. Keiji Basu gets to see the whole side, but Manny’s background seems to be missing. Sometimes it makes you want to enter her life. Significantly, the film is based on the novel The Fault in Our Star.
Mukesh Chhabra leaves his full mark in terms of casting. But he does not reach that level as a director. However, he has tried to add emotion to his film. Those who have fallen in love before will also feel it.
