Mumbai: Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is in trouble these days. While he has gone to the old village with his ailing mother. On the other hand, his wife Aaliya sent him a legal notice demanding divorce and maintenance. In a conversation, Aaliya‘s lawyer Abhay Sahai said that Aaliya had sent this notice to Nawaz via WhatsApp and email.

Nawaz has 15 days to reply.

Abhay Sahai did not say what the reasons for the divorce stated in the notice. But according to him, it mentions very sensitive and confidential things. According to him, on May 7, Nawaz was sent a notice via email and WhatsApp. Because speed post is not available under current conditions.

Notice sent personally on 13 May

On 13 May, a personal legal notice was sent by Aaliya. But Nawaz did not respond. According to Abhay, Nawaz has been given 15 days due to the closure of the court. If they do not respond within the given time period, legal action will be taken against them.

In a conversation, Aaliya also confirmed the news of a divorce notice from Nawaz. However, he did not give any reason for this. But it has to be said that such decisions are taken for one reason or another. According to him, the lockdown gave him time to think about it. She says that her relationship with Nawaz is going through troubles and she has been living apart from him for quite some time.

Nawazuddin and Aaliya have been married for 10 years. They also have two children. In 2017, there were reports about the deteriorating relationship between Nawaz and Aaliya. However, both denied these reports at the time.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently in his native village Budhana in UP. He arrived there on 11 May. According to a pass issued by the Mumbai Police, Nawaz’s 71-year-old mother Mehroon Neesa Siddiqui is very ill. He and two other members of his family have gone with him to old age, where the Siddiqui family has been separated for 14 days. His quarantine period will be completed on 25 May.
