Union Sports Minister Kiran Rijiju will participate in an online yoga session with actress and fitness trainer Shilpa Shetty on the occasion of International Yoga Day on Sunday. The online session will also feature boxer Mary Kom, who became the world’s most frequent world champion. Apart from him, star shooter Anjum Modgil will also take part in the yoga session.
It will be a 45-minute online program organized under the ‘Fit India’ program of the Government of India. This online is named ‘Fun, Family, Yoga’. It has been prepared under the guidelines of ‘Home at Yoga’ of the Ministry of AYUSH. International Yoga Day cannot be celebrated in a public place due to the Coronavirus epidemic. Such an initiative has been taken in this way.

The purpose of this session is to inform children about the essential elements of yoga in sports and games in an instructional manner. This session will show simple and highly effective rugs, which can be done comfortably at home. Information on pranayama and mantra meditation will also be given during the session.
