The number of infected due to coronavirus in the world has risen to 64.79 lakh, while the number of dead has crossed 3.82 lakh. In the United States too, infectives have increased in the last 24 hours, while the situation in Brazil has been steadily deteriorating. Meanwhile, the minister of Sindh province in Pakistan has died by coronavirus infection.
A provincial minister has passed away from COVID-19 in southeastern Sindh province of Pakistan. Sindh’s Human Resources Minister Ghulam Murtaza Baloch was found infected on 14 May, according to the newspaper Dawn, sharing information on Twitter and appealed to people to pray for his speedy recovery.
But Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that Baloch died due to coronavirus. In fact, since the removal of the lockout in Pakistan, the situation has been steadily deteriorating and so far 1,683 people have died. On the other hand, the situation in Brazil is quite bad.
Here 1,262 people have died in the last two days, while so far more than 32 thousand deaths have taken place. Health officials in the US have warned of an increase in the number of infected due to demonstrations.
